Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.
Player Elimination
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.

It's just a bad design. It's super simple in theory but there is no clear path or structure. It tries so hard to do what 7th continent naturally achieves. Also... cooperation is really a minimal side effect and the rest is multiplayer solitaire

I will simply never play this game because I refuse to support anti-consumer practices in boardgames.

Reminds me of 7th continent without the bloat. Only played 1 and 2 player. Solo it is extremely difficult to find all the moving parts to the scenario solution (which is why it reminds me of 7th continent - it's a puzzle that you need repeated plays to solve).
