Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Setup is more involved, and the rules are tricky. I *want* to like it, the art and pieces are gorgeous (it comes with lovely 2D standees), but first two playthroughs were frustrating and it's difficult to beat. Am going to try a few more playthroughs before making a ruling on it though, it might be one of those 'better grasp strategy before playing' kind of games. I wish it had a real co-op version.

A game I wanted to love but it was very repetitive and quite linear. A couple bad rolls early on in a level could make it almost impossible to win, forcing a reset (or many, multiple resets). Best described as "samey" or "wash, rinse, repeat"...games I can still enjoy occasionally despite their flaws...but this one lost its shine way too quickly for me.
