My goal in life is to follow Mqstout around the hundreds of app based games he reviews and put a 10 on them. Wish me luck.

No, no, no! That's the bane of the Detective series. I'm really mad at this, that completely killed whole immerse with riddiculous pets idea. I love the whole series, but this one is really bad. And also the polish translation was full of mistakes.

Absolutely appalling. The designers did not understand how the Detective system worked. They go for a few fun surprises at the expense of the core game system. You will basically see every card in the whole deck yet despite this, will have a much less clear picture of what is going on than in an original case where you only get to see half the deck. There isn't even an explanation of the events at the end. It merely asks you the questions and then tells you your score. As a game it is a big meh: maybe a 4 or 5 star. It gets a 1 star however in the BGG system as it "defies the game description" of a Detective game. Even the instructions are slightly unclear. Nothing game breaking but it isn't a big or complex design. Proof read and play-test your stuff!!!
