Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

I was one of the playtesters of the game and was wonderful to see how it evolved. Braincrack did a amazing production job and the result is the best implementation of the original designer idea.

tile placement game to fit into a 5 x 5 size bonus tiles awarded for completion of a horizontal row and also different missions for scoring extra points probably get stuck for the last few tiles a bit unclear about the rules made the experience in the first game quite bad

The artwork was quite ugly and the game itself was rather rote and dull. The tile placement wasn't interesting, and there was no player interaction to spice it up.
