Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Amazing. I love how the new mechanics manage to preserve the various tensions that can build up around the table. Very ingenious. The only reason why I'd play the "real" BSG instead of this is because of some of the variants found in its expansions. Edit after 3 games: the game can clearly lack tension during its first half (it gets much better after the new loyalty cards are dealt, and makes me think of a mix between The Resistance and BSG vanilla), but it doesn't bother me nearly as much here as it does during a 3-hour game of BSG.

This is a rules heavy game and a bit of a smash up between dead of winter and resistance. Its really fun and a great game but its not the best of both worlds. Play "The Thing Infection at Outpost 31" instead its strictly better.

It's a noble concept. I like the hidden dice mechanism (which is the biggest part). But I don't particularly care for the rest of the game. Take it or leave it kind of situation
