This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.

JVCCP
I have enjoyed my plays of this. It has reasonably simple rules and it is clear what you ideally want to do, but actually doing it with the dynamic ship market and competitive interactions between players makes for a fun game.

On balance, I think I prefer Transatlantic; this version smooths out the edges a little too much, and the gameplay feels significantly samey.

It’s fine. A little bit Concordia in the set collection / multi use cards for scoring, only with the rondel mechanism from Gerdts other games. Fairly simple rules, and suspect it’s one of those that gets more interactive with more players. Wouldn’t rush to play again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid either.
