Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.
Deck / Pool Building
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Two new maps that can alter your experience and provide a lot more longevity for an already stellar game. Add to that additional cards, tokens and a 'salt' resource which is used as a proxy for any other in direct trades. Lovely, one of my favorite board games gets even better with this. Not too meaty, and nothing too radically different that you can't add in without even a cursory understanding.

Concordia: Salsa works seamlessly with Concordia. The Forum tiles add more incentive to use the Tribune cards to gain a small, but useful bonus action or effect. The salt resource seems overly precious at first, but should be used as often as it is advantageous to do so. I can confidently say that moving forward, we will always use Concordia: Salsa in conjunction with the base game. Awesome expansion!

I really like the addition of salt as a resource. It opens up the game a bit and I like having a resource which can only be spent and produced, not bought and sold. Makes for a clever twist on the base game. I was so-so on the forum cards. I like the elegance of the base game, where the depth comes from thinking through the interactions with other players and I felt like the forum cards distracted from that more than added to it. Wouldn't be opposed to including them again, but would prefer to play without them in the future.
