Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

A light medium rule set that produces appropriately swashbuckling play. Clearly a work of love, successful in capturing that strange mix of twenties pulp writing and seventies pulp cover design that so many of us remember.

The river works I enjoyed it. We play as 2 player it works great than you can play as Conan and his support team. Being able to blitz when the player wants is a fun mechanic of push your luck. The variety of maps is nice and tons of minis are fun to see on the table
