In Action Point (AP) Allowance System games, each player is allotted a certain amount of points per round. These points can be spent on available actions, until the player does not have enough remaining to "purchase" any more actions.

Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

My first 1-versus-many game, so it holds a special place in my heart. If you love the IP and lots of miniatures, and 1-versus-many of course, this is an exceptionally fun experience for everyone, boss monster player included. It takes a little bit to get people up to speed, but then flows fast and furious. Action point assignment and "river" of monsters is terrific. Conan (the player character) does seem a little OP compared to other hero characters' abilities, though.

I've never developed much interest in scenario-based overlord games, but this really works, is fun, and the variability and replayability is strictly through the roof, by Crom. Edit/early 2022: Decided to up this to 10 from 9, because I am fully convinced that this is an excellent game.

Based on what I saw and read. Publisher says that "Howard-expert" Patrice Louinet was hired to make sure the art and the scenarios are compatible with Howard's vision. Then, it is stated that the game is based purely on Robert E. Howard's novels and short stories (and not the movies or other non-Howardian material). Now let's talk about Mummies and Skelettons in Howard's Conan... and let an expert quote where he can find them in any (canon) Conan short story or novel. Otherwise, it is only a very repetitive battle game. Members of the team are excessively impolite. They look themselves as (petty) gods and are really ridiculous.
