You are a painter in Colors of Paris, and you’ve decided to participate in "Bateau Lavoir", a friendly competition between several painters in a workshop in Montmartre, Paris. The newspapers know about this challenge, so perhaps this is a good opportunity to become famous, following the path of Cézanne, Toulouse-Lautrec, Monet, or Renoir…
Colors of Paris is a management game in which you must take care of your paint tubes, mixtures, and time to create works, all the while anticipating others to perform as needed within a rotating set of actions.

Similar game play as Fresco. I own Fresco and can’t see having both in my collection. I’d pick Fresco over this one though the components are very nice.

While still being very approachable, this game offers a good bit of depth for experienced players. This is a great choice for those new to the hobby because it is a worker placement game (thus showing a very common mechanism), but it also shows the neat ways that modern boardgames throw little twists into the game.

Interestingly themed game, which is basically a worker-placement resource-collection and trading game. The movement of the roundel on the central board makes for interesting variation, and the ability to leave workers in their place has a meaningful impact on foreplanning and player interaction. However the pacing of the game feels a bit off, with the starts feeling very slow and the game ending very suddenly. + cool theme, nice components, encourages blocking and is much more cutthroat than other WP euros - odd pacing, sluggish start, abrupt finish, unbalanced player powers, disappointingly recycled artwork
