This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Short worker placement + social deduction game that is too quick for you to deduce anything meaningful. Argent does the concept better.

Firstly I should say, that not a lot of people will like it and it has some flaws, but I think it still deserves higher appretiation. I'm not sure, but I think such mechanics as in this game don't exist in any other boardgame. It is built around the idea of not knowing, how to play this game this current round, you only get 1/4 of scoring rules and just try to guess from others' actions and by looking others' cards through some actions what should you do and what should not. It's really fun to play, it has the best cutthroat moments, because they build up for a long time and feel like masterplans, even if they don't work out that well in the end. The only flaw I have is the high possibility of ignoring points scoring, as 3 of 4 players just perma-lose cause of some rules, but I think it's because I didn't play a lot of matches for now. Though the theme is very raw, the design is pretty ok, everything, except for the gameboard, looks stylish and gothic. Gameboard for the workerplacement game is pretty hard to orient in, if you didn't play for several matches already. Overall awesome game, one of my favourites.

This is my favorite 4 player exclusive game of all time. Although it technically has a 3 player variant, in my experience its not even worth trying.
