This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Great WP game that is exciting, tense, and quick. I am not much of a fan of WP games, but I really liked this one. Few choices, but very significant. Little time for AP (analysis paralysis). Exciting because you never know for sure whether what you are doing could come back to haunt you later on. Very easy to teach, pick up and play. Once you start getting a sense of the different hidden objectives the deduction/bluffing aspect starts to bloom, hence a game that rewards experience and repeated plays. The only downside is the appearance of the game -- it really does not look good, and the theme feels like an afterthought (especially if you don't know the anime it is based upon). Perfect example to show that the most important thing about a game is the mechanics, how it plays and whether it's fun to play, not how it looks. I was ready to play a second match right away. One of my favorite WP games that in my opinion is even better than just a WP game.

A good gateway for worker placement that plays quick and a more basic lords of waterdeep but with hidden objectives and powers that can affect other player scoring.

Caveat that I've yet to play expert mode. This was a fun social experience, but I definitely wouldn't call it the most strategic game. It's a tiny bit arbitrary. That said, it's a brief enough experience that it can be a little arbitrary and be fun, the surprises at the end of what memories you didn't see can be a hoot. Super easy to teach and play too. I actually found the theme pretty charming and fitting - e.g. the idea of a robot caring about money because its owner did is funny, maybe kinda sad. Really poor graphic design, unreadable font and icons that often don't make sense. Gotta play this more!
