This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Reviewd allready the following: > the 4th floor new player board: well nothing especial + - > the Urban Design cards: for me too restricting, I like to build my clinic how I want to and do not want to be forced to place tiles where I would not want them - > the Pillars tiles and tokens: Good, but too powerful in my opinion; especially in combination with the Urban Design Cards + - > the Satellite Dish tiles: very cool and thematic! ++ > the Intensive Care Unit tile: I do not see any reason why one should not include this tile in every game ++ > the Hospice tiles: Thematic, in general I liked this modul. But it forces you to play the game different and you will need even more blue figures + - purchased 17.05.2019 (spieleschmiede); 95€ - sold 08.06.2020 (ebay); 54€

solitaire Long ago, in a different life, I wondered who was really going to play with all these modules. There are just so many. Well, the answer is someone like me. I have gone through all thirteen expansions, trying them out one at a time. It was a lot of fun. My favourites are Urban Design, and Underground Utility Work. They change the way in which you build your clinic. The first by giving you a design to strive for, while the second makes you work around certain unusable tiles. Janitors were my least favourite. Maybe they work better in multiplayer games? Maybe I just don't get how to make them useful in solitaire? So happy there will be even more modules waiting for me in future expansions, but I also still really enjoy playing with just the base game.

Comes with tons of modules for the base Clinic. But it's hard to imagine a world where the base Clinic needs more modules. I can't seem to wrap my head around it as it is, adding more will cause it to explode.
