In Clank! In! Space! Adventures: Pulsarcade, you attempt to set high scores on Lord Eradikus’ collection of vintage arcade cabinets, facing new settings inside his ship.
In game terms, this expansion features six new modules, each with their own rules. You might:
RANSACK a vault, then spend your loot at the black market.
RESEARCH new science, or even clone yourself.
ENTERTAIN a bloodthirsty audience in the Danger Theater, or enter a high-stakes race.
PROVE your skill in the PULSARCADE to claim your artifact on the path you’ve chosen.

First of all: every expansion should be packed like this! Love it. Playwise it's more than a decent expansion. It encourages you take some risks and the artifact pick-up works in an entirely new way. The mini games on each module tile are mostly fun, albeit not always that spectacular. But, overall, I've enjoyed this one a lot. Plays logged under base game.

I don't know, maybe it's because Clank in Space is my all time fav game, but these expansions just aren't doing anything for me. This is the third of the CiS expansions and honestly it's my least fav. It does add in some new double sided boards which add in some new gimmicks but to be honest they really aren't that fun to play. The biggest change in this expansion is the way you acquire the artifacts. Now instead of the risk/reward delve like you used to do, it's more a try to collect certain achievements before the other players, which in turn actually makes the game run a bit longer. Then depending on how many achievements you have, determines how good of an artifact you can take. I thought I would enjoy the change but ended up really disliking it. To be honest....there isn't anything included with this expansion that I enjoyed. Luckily there are no new cards tied to anything so you can easily mix these tiles in with the other expansions without mucking anything up, but I won't be using the end tile with the arcade tokens again. The last big gripe I have is the fact the expansion came in a blister pack instead of a box so you HAVE to store it with the core game stuff.....which means you will have to toss the core game insert to fit everything. Unless you are just slobbering for more clank board tiles, I would pass on this expansion.

Some of the stuff in this expansion is a hit or a miss. I really like the Cloning Vats module and the Pulsarcade arcade machine system is a nice variant for the artifacts. Vault and Danger Theater are not as good as the rest.
