This is a negotiation game in the truest sense of the word. In it, players acquire ownership of sections of city blocks then place tiles, representing businesses, onto the block-sections. At the end of each turn, each tile you’ve laid gives you some sort of payout, but completed businesses (formed of three to six connected tiles of the same type) pay quite a bit better. All these resources are dealt to the players randomly, however, so players must trade to get matching businesses and adjacent locations.
This game is #2 in the Alea big box series.

The earlier boardgame i buy. This is a very good gateway boardgame for me and my group. The interaction is intens and negotiation very fun and enjoyable. But need a mediator to give Players Borders when negotiation running.

One of the best, purest trading games there is. That's good and bad, of course--it means the enjoyability of the game is highly influenced by the players at the table (and how good all players are in assessing the relative value of particular tiles).

This is a great game to introduce new game players to because it is: 1) simple to learn, 2) interactive, and 3) better than Monopoly. This is just a GREAT negotiation game, even if it does get repetitive.
