The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.
Take That
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.
Tile Placement
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

Enjoyable simple worker placement (quite aggressive) game, with some randomness due to cards (enemies and angel). Enjoyable light game. I think I would prefer it at two players due to the direct attacks that might get a bit frustrating for the victim at 3-4 players

Tested the game at SpellenSpektakel 2017 and committed to a preorder. It is a worker placement game with limited choices. Excellent for a shorter game, easy to introduce to new players. Preodered SpellenSpektakel 2017

Fun, light, little battle game using cards instead of pawns. It has a worker placement mechanic for resource gathering and buying troops. There's a considerable amount of random 'take that' involved, but since it's a simple quick filler, that doesn't matter as much. We played Inis the night before and in some ways this felt like a simplified version thereof, especially with the angel cards. It's a game that's easy to overlook since the artwork and visual design is so generic, but I quite liked how much game there is in a half hour's worth of play. (Played once at a local games fair)
