I wasn't going to get this game, but I happened upon a used copy for $5. I like the puzzle aspect of the game, but I have only played the introductory level.

I've not met the Shadi Torbey design yet that isn't worth owning. Castellion is a fine companion to Sylvion and Onirim, in which you're building a 6x6 structure out of tiles and trying to manage defensive lines or blocks of 4 Defenders of the same faction. But the matching rules are a little tricky, and you've got to accomplish Exam cards and other goals to make it through. Three levels of difficulty come in the box, each with some variants, and the artwork is once again so unique and lovely, flush within the Oniverse. Outstanding for solo play and really reflects that strange feel you've gotten from the earlier titles. Can also play with two! Easily recommended whether you enjoy his other games or even puzzle video games.

This game from the oniverse didn't "tilt" for me. The art is really limited, you need to read the rulebook all the time, and the game is really abstract. It's like a "tetris". Sure, the mechanics are OK, but this game feels blank for me. I won't sell it because I love the oniverse so much, but I would otherwise.
