Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.
Deck / Pool Building
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.

The rulebook could use a little work, but overall, this game is fantastic. The theme is spot on thus far--especially with how our character stories end up. This could definitely benefit from an expansion (items comes to mind). The two things we play with, and I strongly suggest) is: 1. Players must tell their character's story in the end. 2. The best story told is the tie breaker.

Fun game, easy to get lost into creating your story. I lost track of points, so by the end, I lost by a few points. To be honest though, my story was sound, so that was a win for me! That's what makes a fun game, where losing doesn't matter, it's almost forgotten. Cant wait for the expansions. So glad we backed it!

Really enjoyed playing this game! It was especially good when we got to the end and we each told the "story" of our hero. (My sweetie beat me pretty badly, but then, his hero ended up being flippin' Luke Skywalker, so what could i do???)
