I found that nothing felt exciting about this game. I was grabbing more and more runes to roll, but I never felt that "yeah, I've gained power and am now ready to take on a god." In addition, the semi-coop nature felt like it REALLY took away from the game.

Call to Adventure: The Stormlight Archive by @brotherwisegames is a stand alone sequel to the famous Call to Adventure. — In both of the Call to Adventure games, players will be telling the story of their hero through tableau building, set collection, and dice (or rune) rolling, choosing the path their heroes would take, their motivation and eventually their destiny. — We played a 2p game and my friend ended up taking the win at 37-29 by taking choosing the path of the anti hero. ? — I am normally not so big on fantasy when it comes to board games (however, a big fan when it comes to books), however, I really enjoyed this one. I love the clever world building behind this game and how it brings out the creativity of each player through hero crafting by means of story telling and tableau building. I enjoyed making choices on whether I’d rather have my hero keep going on the path of light or take the path of darkness, impacting future destinies, while playing hero/antihero cards that augmented my decisions while also adding flavor thematically. What really stood out to me were the rune stones that players get to chuck and roll each turn, which is a twist, from your normal dice rolling mechanism. — Overall, we had a lot of fun playing this relaxing novel-based hero crafting game. ? ⭐️⭐️7.5/10⭐️⭐️

If you haven't yet read Stormlight Archive, you should. The game is visually quite amazing, gameplay is fun though nothing groundbreaking.
