Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

It's fine and I am pleasantly surprised. The dice rolling is handled well as workers as there are many places to use them (blocking still applies). The conflict between players is minor - confined to the majority control of the forest cards. There isn't much 'engine' building in the cards - more directional powers that increase particular actions. All in all, seems pretty well done with charming artwork with somewhat subpar albeit functional materials. It's an ok game.

Funny because to "brew" is not the core of the game mechanic. The game is a strange pokemon-like adventure, you have to acquire and then set free the monsters, brewing potions can help. It's very easy to learn, illustrations are fantastic and the game is totally enjoyable.

I enjoyed it, but the wife hated it for being too mean. Her dice kept getting removed/covered by everyone else and she ended up winning only one forest. Sold.
