Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

I started out really liking this game but I found that my enjoyment level fell off after a couple of plays. I love the core idea of dice placement and area control, but for this style of game, it ended up being too light to hold my interest. As an area control it's better with more players but it often ends up being so chaotic that it becomes a crapshoot. I really like the aesthetic and components. I think I would really like this core concept as a bigger, more mid-weight experience with more strategic choices.

Contentious area control in a lean and attractive package. Less dry than The King is Dead, and that's why I might end up over time preferring it.

Some fun interaction and engine building game. Has dice but isn't as random as i thought . Enjoyed it more than Everdell :U . unexpected like.
