Picked this up on sale by the publisher. The expansion adds new room types but gameplay doesn't really change, and the expansion fits nicely in the base game box. Though after several games, I'm thinking about separating the expansion to cut down on tile bloat and room dilution so new players can focus on maximizing the base game rooms. Playing the solo 'Introvert Mode' is a quick solo puzzle experience, with a risk/push-your-luck element trying to manipulate Automa into getting a lower score than you, while also hoping it doesn't steal an important tile you wagered. A little more depth than expected. I didn't care for the other solo mode where you work on two castles.

The secret rooms that copy other rooms are interesting. Also the rooms that get points for your neighbors rooms. The activity rooms were interesting but also not as easy to figure out based on the symbols on the tiles. Overall, this expansion adds a bit of complexity, but is fun.

Nice game layout. Higher complexity than between two cities, makes the game longer. Happy to play again, however prefer between two cities.
