Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

I would probably rate it higher if the directions were clearer. We run into lots of circumstances that aren't clear in the rules but overall a really enjoyable Batman dice game.

A fun lil co-op game. Not the best one out there, but it does make you feel like a superhero and rewards working together.

What a disappointment. I love Batman, I love board games, and I love Ricky L games... 3 rights apparently make a wrong. This game is fiddly, full of blocks of text, takes too long, and has excessively abstract with the way the heroes interact with adventure cards. The 3D buildings are pointless, they don't even look good. I want to play it again only because I WANT to like it.
