Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

One of my favourite games, the idea is quite simple, but works really well as a game, I love the illustrations and concept of building a little bear park, very easy to teach new players, good replayability.

We played this at a convention and I have been looking in the local shops for it. It's different for sure. Make sure you fully understand the rules we cheated a couple times in the first playthrough. It's a short game. Doesn't take a whole lot of time investment. We took an hour for first playthrough and that included the rule reading and arguments. Haha.

A Tetris-like game centered on racing for better tiles and objectives. I love how covering icons quickly to get good, high-value tiles, forces you to fill your board unoptimally, which creates a large part of the tension in the game.
