Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

I did not like the scoring system in base Azul *at all*. Sintra takes Azul's interesting collection mechanism, and puts an interesting scoring mechanism on it, which gives you some big moments, some long term strategizing, some tough, push-your-luck decisions. It's like Azul for gamers.

Why so high? Me and my wife love the B side of the game. That side alone definitely better than the original Azul.

Moving the glazier figure presents an interesting choice in where to put him and when to reset. Both scoring options tend to play a bit differently, providing more replayability. And the “glass” pieces are just pretty and nice to handle. The way they clank against each other, as you draw them or throw into the bin is just satisfying. The game tends to become a bit fiddly once you reach the level of factoring in your opponents' boards and other side of the panels. I'd recommend it for two players, three at the max.
