Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Lovely game. Thematically amazing. Love all the titles on the bindings of the books. They game moves quite fast the way the cards are made to move each turn so you have to go hard and fast to claim what you need. Not a complicated game but has some good strategy. Have played several times and keeping it in our library. ;). Recommended without a doubt.

Nice components. Clever titles on books had my kids laughing. Did not like all of the shifting of cards between turns on the board and managing passing of hands and keeping track of who got what. Hard to remember to move everyone on the score path and components are awkward on the game board as they can fall over. Liked the puzzle of moving books around and trying to draw the right things to get objectives. Game requires planning and luck. Overall it was enjoyable, but not a must have in my book.

An interesting drafting game-- we liked how every card you draft also provides resources to your opponents. We didn't like how easy it was to just fall into some of the scoring cards accidentally. Net positive though and the game has great table presence so it will probably get played a lot.
