Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
In games with a trading mechanic, the players can exchange game items between each other.

Fun dudes on a map game. A really enjoy the asymmetry between the races but that lends itself to an unbalanced scenario more often than not. I also like the card play to determine actions, very cool concept but feels just a hair under developed. The minis for each faction are great and well done, but I also don't care for the disconnect with the minis for main members of your faction and tokens for basic units.

Dudes on the map game set in a D&D fantasy world. The card command mechanic is very interesting and reminiscence of how Concordia's cards are played. The twist here is in the sequence of cards played. Certain cards played earlier or later will give bonuses to the command. I like the simplified battle system too. The race asymmetry in strength and objectives are well balanced. I have a few issues with the game though. The leaders and regular giants are just tokens yet the champions are these huge "miniatures". At least have some consistencies in playing pieces, publishers! Also at lower player counts, the NPCs felt a little weird like they're just waiting to be slaughtered. I didn't like this about most dudes on the map game and its the same here.

Un muy buen juego asimétrico de control de territorio en el que también se desarrolla una historia y en que cada raza a elegir se siente tan diferente que deja una gran rejugabilidad.
