The card drafting doesn't seem overly needed. Could've drafted in the beginning and left it. The engine building is fun and when you decide to cast instead of build out your tableau.

It's fine. "Fine" is a perfect word to describe it. Nothing special about it but it doesn't hurt to play. Some cards are clearly op.

One of the biggest surprises in this year. I didn't expect much, but got a great engine building game with clever mechanism. It reminds me game: It's a Wonderful World which I love. I really like the variety of cards, theme, as well as splendid poker-like chips (great texture). A downside I see is cards quality - extremely thick and without sleeves they are going to wear out quickly (but for me who sleeves almost all games is not a big problem). I only play it at 2 players and game works great. I really recommend it to anyone who like such enginge building-card games (with also draft mechanism).
