Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Co-operative play encourages or requires players to work together to beat the game.
Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Games where you repeat an action (or part of an action) until you decide to stop due to increased (or not) risk of losing points or your turn.
Press your Luck
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.

Another fun entry in the Oniverse series, probably my 2nd favourite. Can be subject to runs of luck, but deciding what cards to get rid of for re-roll to try and grab something you need but is interesting everytime. Update: 14/7/21 Played two really intense games with the factories and hourglasses, one loss one win, luck was definitely in my favour for the second winning gaming, having the right cards show up with the right dice rolls, but thinking about how to best grab the factories made a big difference as well, hadn't played in too long and it was even better than I remembered!

I have mixed feelings about this game. I love the art and the theme but something about it makes me anxious in a not fun way. I think it’s the fear of running out of the cards you need. The Flagship expansion makes it a smidge more fun. I don’t like the inconsistencies amongst the card symbols on the cards/ships- causes confusion. It’s not getting much play right now. Unsure if I’ll keep it.

Enjoyable. Expansions offer a lot of flexibility, but significantly increase playtime. I love the art, but the many piles of cards is a table hog.
