Unique tile-laying, tile-manipulation, and tile-destruction game. Variable difficulty levels and play modes (coop, semi-coop, competitive, solo). You can tune the game to your liking. On the higher difficulty levels, it definitely packs a challenge, but the lower difficulty levels are a nice way to ease into it. Plays quick and offers good tension. Plus it's a small-box, small footprint game that's highly portable. The main frustration is tiles getting messed up when you are trying to do the more complex manipulations. I think playing on a neoprene or similar playing surface would help the tiles stick more in place and not be so easily bumped.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Not really my cup of tea. This is a cooperative puzzle more or less. I didn't really much fun playing as it seemed a bit too, well, "mechanical" in nature. We played normal difficulty I believe and it was pretty easy for us to get out in our first play at least. This is more of a solo challenge puzzle from my perspective.

This game is nuts! I get into full-on panic mode when that Mechanical Beast starts imploding. And I am hardly ridden with guilt if I cannot save the Android along with myself. I usually play solo but my son enjoys a game now and then, too. We both love the mechanics and enjoy getting really into the story of what we are doing. Such a fun game!!
