    Retains the core concept of Welcome To but replaces all of the card abilities with more advanced ones; basically Welcome To with a bunch more rules. Still an excellent game and it's nice to have both as you can choose if you want to just play something light and simple, or something with more crunch to it.

    The same mechanics as the original Welcome to..., but with added stuff on top so it can only get better! Quite complex on the first play as there are A LOT of things to take into account, but easier in the following plays. A great sequel that keeps the original spirit but gives a nice variety :) Any more complex and it would probably have been a miss.

    Played on BGA. Just... why? The original Welcome To is so satisfying, bringing different mechanics that aren't hard to understand together, creating a really cool strategy tableau to the players. I understand that New Las Vegas was created as a more "hardcore" version of the formula, but there's so much rules now and options that I just became overwhelmed and literally doesn't knew what to do 90% of the time. Yes, I also want a more diverse and difficult version of Welcome To, but that one just isn't for me.

The game plays with a set of two different sheets — one dedicated to the map, the other used to keep track of the score and objectives — where you have to build and open casinos in the streets, hotels in avenues, create golf courses, give performances to the tourists, and move limousines for VIPs in order to build the greatest and most entertaining city and win the game!

Welcome To New Las Vegas keeps the same roll-and-write with dice-without-dice mechanism from Welcome to… Your Perfect Home: you flip cards from three piles to make three different sets with both a casino number and a corresponding action from which everyone chooses one. You use the number to fill in a casino on your street in numerical order. And everyone is racing to be the first to complete public goals. There’s lots to do and many paths to becoming the best resort architect in Welcome To New Las Vegas!

Because of the communal actions, game play is simultaneous and thus supports large groups of players. With many varying strategies and completely randomized action sets, no two games will feel the same!
