Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Games that use the Memory mechanic require players to recall previous game events or information in order to reach an objective.

Small, tight, quick, adventures, that deliver everything we like about deduction games. I cannot fathom how anyone comes to the conclusion about Death on the 4th of July. Good scenario, but something is certainly off. That will not stop us from buying more. :)

This delivers a similar experience to Consulting Detective in a modern and far less clunky way. I like the system, but I thought one of the three cases presented here is not very good.

2 of the 3 stories were interesting and clever. For the other, it didn’t seem to hang together, even after reading the answer.
