The simultaneous action selection mechanic lets players secretly choose their actions. After they are revealed, the actions resolve following the rule-set of the game.
Simultaneous Action Selection
Voting allows players to influence the outcome of certain events within the game. The vote may be all or nothing, choosing a target for an effect, or to determine the results of certain situations. Players’ votes may not have equal weight, and blocking a player from voting can be a valid tactic.

These ruin a great game. The only one of interest is "opinion maker" which should be dealt to a random player at the start of the game. Trash the rest and never look back.

Event/power cards add variety, but this deck doesn't get used often. Newer players will prefer playing the default game a lot more without the extra roles and complexity.

Need to play it more. I thought going into it that the draw cards here would be too influential, but at least in the one game we played, they essentially had no effect. I still think I prefer the roles of Avalon more, if only because the roles add to the deductive aspect without adding randomness (drawing particular cards aren't something you can control, as in SH, which I think it to social deduction's detriment).
