Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
The simultaneous action selection mechanic lets players secretly choose their actions. After they are revealed, the actions resolve following the rule-set of the game.

This is quite a decent game using the Apples to Apples mechanic but with a set number of rounds and scoring instead of just taking the judged apple. 1 Play.

A tamer version of cards against humanity. It is enjoyable and a good alternative if a group does not want to be offensive. I'm actually considering mixing this game with cards against humanity.

A variant of Apples to Apples with two rule twists that greatly add to the entertainment. Point tokens are awarded for the five favorite responses which makes everyone feel more involved, and second the addition of the "bazinga" card adds a great unpredictability element. It is a silly and simple game to be sure, but there is no denying how much fun everyone has--gamer and non-gamer, geek and non-geek, teenage daughter and grandmother. Last night, my very formal aunt was having a blast and we all roared with laughter hearing her say out loud "space poop" or "well hung billionaire with wings"... priceless. My main complaint is that there are not many cards. In fact, with a large group all the cards will have been read by the end of the game. Maybe they will have some card expansions with the new seasons which would be great. Until then, this won't have much re-playability other than to entertain the uninitiated.
