Where Am I? Alice In A Mad Tea Party
20m - 30m
2 - 4 Players
Ages 8+
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.
Modular Board
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
Voting allows players to influence the outcome of certain events within the game. The vote may be all or nothing, choosing a target for an effect, or to determine the results of certain situations. Players’ votes may not have equal weight, and blocking a player from voting can be a valid tactic.

10-11-2021 Played 2x 3p/4p. + very cute crockery + I love knocking out duplicate scores as a mechanism. Here, it leads to some really cool emergent strategies. + A fascinating tension with the way each teaparty ends suddenly. - Can feel too chaotic? - box is too small - nowhere good for the table/chairs to go, even when disassembled. - the 2 extra characters feels irritatingly pointless rather than lovely. Overall, the best Alice in Wonderland game I've ever played. The first game that I feel matches the balance of whimsy, chaos, spite, and cleverness seen in the books.

Deduct who everyone else is. How you exactly do this seems very random. Oooh, someone put a tea cup on the table, this must mean they are ... oh wait, this tells you nothing. It feels more like a push your luck game more than a deduction game. I spent most of the time trying to smoke out rival players by making seating positions very valuable. Not for me.

Dang I wanted to love this game because of the cool bits included in the game box. The overall play is just random and wild. No real exciting choices to be made and all around a miss.
