The idea is better than the execution. I am interested in tryinG Men at Work. It may be a better implementation. It is satisfying to build, but very fiddly. Many games end early because it is so easy to knock over. 6.9 to 6.5

Knocking pieces over and placing cars on steep slopes is really funny. The tweezers also add to the hilarity by being necessary for most car placements. Scoring feels predictable, but more plays could reveal more chances to pull ahead for those who are behind.

It's fine as one to play occasionally. Can't say I'd want to play it multiple times in one sitting. Nice 3D table presence. There's strategy, but the rule set is pretty dysfunctional if a large enough topple occurs. Edit: having played Men at Work recently, this game's issues are more apparent. The way in which Men at Work deals with topples is simply superior. It serves to highlight how Tokyo Highway fails to provide its intended competitive experience with 3 or 4 players.
