Really disappointing, the villagers just make the game easier rather than add any real interesting new decisions.

Seems unnecessary. Gives you a super wide range of choices that sort of eliminate any of the puzzle that is established in the base game. The villager meeples are mostly cute, but the squirrels don't stand up correctly. There is almost no variety at all in the designs of the villager cards/powers. Feels lackluster as an expansion and not worth the purchase or effort to include them.

A lot of new buildings, but I'm not a fan of the Villagers. They make the base game's puzzle a little too easy for my tastes.
