Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

[USAopoly 2020 edition with promo] {Star Wars; dice-rolling, co-op} As a Star Wars fan, this is an immediate impulse purchase for me. The dice and card illustration looks attractive. The Vader figure is clearly outstanding. My daughters like this game very much. Honestly, the game play does not provide strong theme. It is basically rolling dice and matching dice to a card, with different functions to control luck. Yet, this is a good game for Star Wars fans. I am thinking whether I can create a variant to have an evil player to compete against a group of players.

Thanos rising with a new theme, but with character who i don't even know who they are! it was surprisingly difficult to work out who the bads guys were as the color palette is a big strange (at least in Thanos they are yellow and easy to spot) here, not so much. sigh
