Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

As a Star Was fan, I wanted to love this game, but like the rest of the Rising series, the randomness of the dice rolling means it's either absurdly punishing or overstays its welcome, at least for our gaming preferences. That said, it's an absolutely beautiful production—from the Vader figurine to the incredible card arts, it's well made, well designed, and would be a fantastic collector's item if you've got the room for it (which, sadly, I don't).

A coop destroy the dark side Star Wars game with a menacing Vader in the middle. Awesome and excellent!

Just very bad. Feels like too much random to be able to have a real effect on the outcome of the game. When I played, I was able to damage a unit once and never got the chance to get a rebel. "bad luck" does not cover the extend of "no control" you experience in this game. You don't play the game, the game plays, you just watch it happen.
