Because of how the cards interact, this actually can cause a lot of slow down and game playing. For those who are unfamiliar with a particular faction, you're going to spend a lot of time trying to parse out exactly how all of its moving parts interact. In addition, it seems like a lot of people are going to be constantly trying to read card text from across the table and sneakily check rules combinations to not broadcast what they're planning on doing next. Probably not the best choice of games for younger kids, but for adults who really like Disney IP this is going to be decent game for 3 or 4 players.

It was fun when Smashup mimicked popular themes, the fun part was to guess the inspiration for the theme. Now, it’s becoming “safe bets” cash grabs. First Marvel now Disney, how original.

Not played yet. The bad first: the artwork is terrible. Not only it is a mere frame ricycle from the movies, but also it seems something strange, far and detached from Smash Up. The good: the decks are very well themed, with some very good mechanics, clever, innovative and better than what I've seen in the Marvel set - and also better than many older factions. The general game-design also takes old decks mechanics into consideration, and that's great for the compatibility. In the end is a must have in my opinion. A REAL pity for the artwork...
