Fun game that hits a lot of spots and easy theme for non-gamers. Roll dice, move associated horses and everyone takes their actions in this fast paced ponies race. Play with all player groups from 2-8 and has not disappointed.

Dice version of Long Shot with a fun combination between horse racing and roll & write. What makes it special? * Combines racing with roll & write. I like: + Fun artwork. + Setting: not so serious horse racing. + Buying horse to gain special abilities. There are different horses each game (variability / replayability). + Different actions: players have different actions which result into more decision-making than in other racing games. + Boni by completing certiain combinations (Bingo-style). + Players are engaged even if it is not their turn. + Scales well with high player counts. + Easy to teach and play. + Quick to play. Neutrals: # Small game box. # Quite some interaction for a roll and write. # Luck of the roll. # Betting / push your luck. # Family game. I do not like: - It is still a rather light, chaotic game. - Game mechanics do not make sense thematically (special abilities for owning horses or Bingo on player sheets). See also: * Long Shot: longer game. * Winners Circle: simple gameplay but still decision-making. Requires higher player counts. * Camel Up: less decision-making, players have less control and less to do. * Ganz schön Clever: deciding how to use the dice to cross something out on your player sheet.

This seems like a cool little filler, looking forward to it. Solid, fun little filler. Love how short and quick it is and how easy it is to teach. And the expansion sets give you do much replayability. The game is fantastic to play and people immediately want to play it again.
