It's better than No Thanks! which is the inspiration for this game. I like the sly way you build up your pyramid to shed points and the fact there are 2 face up cards to allow a bit more decision space. Nicely produced, super fast to set up, explain and play - it's a real winner for a filler game!

Finally played with 2 player which I'm convinced doesn't work well as it is obvious how much of the closed economy is divided. But this took No Thanks and added quirky exceptions and the change from a linear tableau to a pyramid set up just adds to the concept hurdles. The easing of having 2 face up cards gives more things to consider. Not sure on this one.

Didn’t think No Thanks could get any better. This one I’d fantastic. I don’t know if it’s better than No Thanks, but it’s just as good. A little bit heavier, but we’ll worth the extra few rules.
