Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.

Looks great and plays well. It's very much like Kodama but also pretty different in the way it handles scoring and branching. Different enough that I'm glad I own both. Being 3-D, the spatial aspects of it can be trickier for scoring, but I think the scoring cards account for that well. Compared to Kodama, I'd say it's not simpler, not more complex, not worse, not better - just different and equally good.

Such a lovely addition to the Kodama series. A beautiful game with a clever strategy. Each player is placing their worker ( Kodama ) to reserve a new branch tile from the forest, once you do that, you can place it on your tree. If the pictures on it do not match the branch it connects to you gain another goal card. Goal cards have the victory points for you to win the game. There’s a fine line of gaining new goal cards but also maximizing the goals you are trying to achieve. At the end, you have built a beautiful 3D tree. This game is so cute :)
