Hibachi 2-4 Players 45 Minutes 10+ Mechanisms Auction: Dexterity Auction: Sealed Bid Set Collection Objective Players take on the roles of Teppenyaki Chefs trying to be the first to fulfill 3 recipes/orders. Gameplay The board will be filled with 6 ingredients each round and there will always be 3 recipes available. Players take turns tossing one of their pierced poker chips (face down if possible) on to the board (the hole indicates where the chip is). Each player has 6 poker chips which come in different denominations (100, 200,300,400,500,600). Depending on the number of players, a certain amount of poker chips will be tossed (4 in a 2-3 players, and 3 in a 4 player game). The board consists of different ingredients and action spaces which the players can get by landing their chips there, and when all players are done tossing chips; they move on to the next phase which is gaining those actions/ingredients. Action spaces include, drawing a recipe, drawing ingredients, becoming head chef/start player, and getting an extra bonus chip toss. The player with the highest value of chips in each of those action spaces get to carry out the action space. The ingredient spaces allow players to buy and sell that ingredient if they are available in that spot. For selling, the total value of all chips indicate the value of that ingredient (which takes place before buying). For buying, each player counts their total chip(s) value and that would be the cost (highest value goes first). Please note that you can't carry out both a sell and a buy action on the same ingredient space. If your chip lands outside of any space you gain a chili, which is a wild ingredient (2 chilis = 1 ingredient). Then the players can choose to cook/spend their ingredients to gain the recipes. First player to cook 3 recipes is the winner. Thoughts Game is fun, hectic, and could be very mean as well! Really easy to learn and teach! Game takes less than an hour. Lovely components. Great dexterity game! Works great with all player counts! Overall score 7.5/10 Could be very fun/crazy with the right group!

Really shines at four players, ordered the expansion so we can play at 5 players. Fell a bit flat at two players. It feels different than most board games because it's truly about throwing chips, hopefully not in your opponent's face. Truly enjoyed our second play and look forward to play it some more, which would provide more accuracy in throwing chips. Messy rulebook though.
