Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.

Invicta Bricks
Bought this as something to play with my 6 year old daughter, ended up with four hardcore gaming adults sitting for hours trying to ram stuff in suitcases and making up new swearwords. It's very well done, and although you do end up learning a few tricks to help you, it takes a while. The three difficulty levels means you can play competitively with children and newcommers, by taking on a harder challenge. The one thing that seems ironic, is that the game packs into it's oversized box so badly.

Fun puzzle game! More challenging than most puzzle games which are more about the race than the ability to solve it. It seems like it might end up being too easy after a few plays of figuring out the pieces fit together best, but definitely challenging and interesting until then!

Despite it clearly bring geared towards families, i thought i would like it based on loving spatial puzzles. Played only a few rounds and didnt care to continue. I will stick with Ubongo, Mental Blocks, or Kittin instead.
