Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

I like this kind of roll and write abstract games which are a bit of a puzzle and a bit of luck. In this case we have to tick specific number of squares of a specific color. This is a good one, but nos as good as Ganz Schön Clever to my taste. Anyway, reccommended.

Best roll & write, probably. I've played Ganz schön clever too, and that's really neat, but you can definitely play it too much. You can get tired of the Encore solo game, for sure. In that sense it's similar to Ganz schön clever, too. The difference is that Encore's multiplayer game feels very different, like a whole new game! Whereas in Ganz schön clever everyone's doing kind of their own thing, so you'll get tired of both the multiplayer and solo games since they're basically the same. Ganz schön clever is a neater experience on your first play, but Encore beats it in the end.

Only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is that with 3+ players, it's tough to see the other player's scoresheets because they're so small. But it totally shines as a two-player game.
