One player is the storyteller for the turn and looks at the images on the 6 cards in her hand. From one of these, she makes up a sentence and says it out loud (without showing the card to the other players). Each other player selects the card in their hands which best matches the sentence and gives the selected card to the storyteller, without showing it to the others.

Card game version of Barbarossa (Klaus Teuber, 1988) where you have a handful of very unusually drawn (art) cards and you take turns being either the storyteller or one of the other players. The storyteller tries to be neither too vague nor too specific in describing their card, and the other players select a card from their hand that they feel best matches the description given by the storyteller. Points are awarded to the storyteller if at least one (but not all!) people guess his card, and by the other players if they guess the storyteller's card AND if other people guess their cards instead. It's most difficult and least lucrative being the storyteller but this role moves around the table each turn. The game is infinitely expandable and plays very well as a light humorous filler for large groups. I can see this going over very well with non-gamers. Needs at least 3 players and can play up to well as many as you like really but I think officially 7. Clever game and somewhat entertaining, but utterly themeless and feels a bit like an excercise for people who have a hard time socializing or something. Might be a good icebreaker, I guess. A bit too thinky (not in the strategic way) to be a real party game, in my opinion.

A good game with beautiful artwork, but I find it too quiet and too nice for a party game. It's more a social activity than a game. Whether it's fun or boring depends a lot on who play the game.
