Dixit
One player is the storyteller for the turn and looks at the images on the 6 cards in her hand. From one of these, she makes up a sentence and says it out loud (without showing the card to the other players). Each other player selects the card in their hands which best matches the sentence and gives the selected card to the storyteller, without showing it to the others.

Definitely want to get some more plays in, great for non-boardgamers and the art is BEAUTIFUL! __________ Storytelling . Casual

This really gives the creative side of your brain a heavy workout! The cards are beautifully detailed, intricate, and open to many interpretations. It's incredible when you've had a card in your hand for several turns without any idea of how you could play it, only to see it become a perfect fit for another player's turn. Likewise when you see another player interpret cards in a different way to you. It requires a certain amount of energy or spark, but I'm yet to play this with a group that hasn't enjoyed it. Sometimes it can take a while for the active player to take their turn, and if this occurs frequently we tend to allow other players to step in and take their turn instead, which keeps the game flowing and doesn't affect the game balance.

Card game version of Barbarossa (Klaus Teuber, 1988) where you have a handful of very unusually drawn (art) cards and you take turns being either the storyteller or one of the other players. The storyteller tries to be neither too vague nor too specific in describing their card, and the other players select a card from their hand that they feel best matches the description given by the storyteller. Points are awarded to the storyteller if at least one (but not all!) people guess his card, and by the other players if they guess the storyteller's card AND if other people guess their cards instead. It's most difficult and least lucrative being the storyteller but this role moves around the table each turn. The game is infinitely expandable and plays very well as a light humorous filler for large groups. I can see this going over very well with non-gamers. Needs at least 3 players and can play up to well as many as you like really but I think officially 7.
