Dixit
One player is the storyteller for the turn and looks at the images on the 6 cards in her hand. From one of these, she makes up a sentence and says it out loud (without showing the card to the other players). Each other player selects the card in their hands which best matches the sentence and gives the selected card to the storyteller, without showing it to the others.

Great concept, great art. It's always interesting to learn about how your fellow players' brains work. Playing with strangers can be really fun. Some players (very intelligent people, too!) have trouble understanding what kind of clues/stories to give. But if everyone kinda "gets it" then you will be tickled.

This really gives the creative side of your brain a heavy workout! The cards are beautifully detailed, intricate, and open to many interpretations. It's incredible when you've had a card in your hand for several turns without any idea of how you could play it, only to see it become a perfect fit for another player's turn. Likewise when you see another player interpret cards in a different way to you. It requires a certain amount of energy or spark, but I'm yet to play this with a group that hasn't enjoyed it. Sometimes it can take a while for the active player to take their turn, and if this occurs frequently we tend to allow other players to step in and take their turn instead, which keeps the game flowing and doesn't affect the game balance.

Hell of a great party game, really is fun to watch and listen to how people describe their cards... the look into their thought process is great!
