Games using the line drawing mechanic involve the drawing of lines in one way or another. Lines may be used to connect objects as in Sprouts, to isolate objects, or to create areas as in the classic Dots and Dashes, also known as Square-it.
Line Drawing
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.

For a game that is heavily focused on communication and listening there's just too much going on for the game to function properly. It's a fun twist on battleship...for the first few minutes, but will leave you with a headache, not from the rules or mechanics, but all the noise it makes.
Alan Stern
A fun coop! I like how the different roles interact - you get a strong group feel to the play. It's quick enough that you can play a number of games in a row. Your team's performance may be heavily dependent on your captain and navigator - arguably the two most important roles. Great game!

A must have! Works as a party-game (though at least the. 2 captains should know the rules before). Best played at 8 (which can be a challenge to gather) and of course in real-time.
